Finally, finally done. This epic has been in progress since the beginning of August last year and here it is. Knight Elite.
Just exactly how you came to wake in this nightmare you don’t recall. But there is the unmistakable sound of the Orcs outside. You better get ready, quickly. Using your limited resources you need to build up your own powers and the strength of your own army to repel the invaders. This is a full-scale war and you won’t do it by yourself. The Orc army has enlisted a variety of thugs to claim this keep as their own.
In this game you earn experience (XP) and money by fighting off the Orcs. More XP will allow you to go up levels and that brings into play a broad skill tree that not only allows you to beef up yourself and your armies, but adds a big dimension of replayablity.
Not only can you purchase weapons and equipment, but you can hire allies to help you out. In order to do this you’ll have to build various buildings. For example, to hire Footmen, you’ll have to build yourself a Barracks. To hire archers you’ll need an Archery Range. In order to hire Wizards you’ll need a bunch of stuff.
One warning should accompany this game other than the “if you’re upset by cartoon blood then don’t play this one” and that is this. Knight Elite stretches Flash pretty far in its capabilities and some older/less powerful computers may encounter some slowdown at higher levels. That said, we’ve tested it a lot and it performs pretty well on my 3 year old laptop.

this game is great, except for the massive lag. at one point, the lag was so great, that i couldn’t move, and got killed by a massive hord of the big orange orcs. i didnt have any troops out either, which would have made this lag attack even worse. then, i went back in game with the quality at low, and i still got a good ammount of lag with only a couple dozen orcs in view.
is there any way to fix this? or is it just part of the game?
if there isnt any way to fix this myself, you need to make some changes.
also, i have a fairly new computer that rarely lags even in online 3D gameplay.

I enjoy this game very much, replay value is a little low but otherwise very fun game. I Like how its a survival game but y’all managed to make the game completely unique. I’d have to I’m dropping Bloons Supermonkey and my new top three is 1. BLoons tower defense four 2. SAS Zombie series 3. Knight Elite.

well, i solved my lag issues., and i must say, without lag, this is a great game. if you made some sort of new game+ wheere u could keep your items, or one item, that would be pretty fun. also, i think you should make a harder duficulty. eleit mode is just the same ammount of orcs attacking your base, you just need to hit them harder

For those of you experiencing lag on these flash games, I finally worked it all out – at least for Windows 7… basically on my system, flash heats the CPU up all the way to around 60C. On some systems – espeically those with older intel CPUs, the BIOS is set to step down the CPU when you hit around 45-46C. You probably want to get ahold of something like RightMark CPU Clock Utility (be warned you have to disable UAC and switch Win7 to Test Mode) to stop the CPU stepping down until around 65-70C. And of course overheating the CPU isnt a good thing but you do what you have to do…

What is the difference between elite and normal mode? Couldnt find any info about it. Wonderful game, replaced SAS 2 as my favorite. Beat all 50 waves 100% solo my 2nd run thru!

@karbon waaaaa how did you managed to fix the lag problem? i have the same problem :S my comp runs really great with 3d online games but this game lags a lot near the 45 wave
… i really liked this game and i hope any of you can help me to eliminate/reduce the lag :s.. lol i even lost some items i bought and i can’t see all the enemys/soldiers just their shadow xD

okay patato. first off, if you are playing in full screne mode,(hit F11 and you will see what i mean. hit F11 again to turn it back to normal.) than stop. that makes more lag. second off, turn down the quality of you game when you start to see lag. once you are at round 45, hit space, then right click. hover over any of the little icons on the bottom portion of that window that just opened up, and right click on them. then go to quality, and set to low. its a little confusing, but…. yea lol. and lastly, with the shadow people, idk why that happens, but i think it happens with everybody. this game is newly released, and there are sure to be updates, for glitches or problems like you and i have experianced.

Here are my likes and dislikes:
Likes: the game is pure fun and builds well off the SAS series. I like the upgraded weapons/builds/ranks. The huge choices in rank upgrades is fantastic, probably the best feature of the game trying to balance out all those. I liked the different orcs. Well designed and great looking game.
Dislikes: replayability is low b/c you can’t rank up nearly as fast anymore. I played through for a third time, and only ranked up once. I barely didn’t reach 25 on the third time and that means I’ll have to play through again for one rank. Not worth it.
It’s very very easy. Buy the gold mine first, then the long sword, then the orcbane and you’re set. Even in Elite Mode. I never had to recruit before or after I got the Orcbane. With the orcbane, adamantium armor, and templar, I’m pretty much invincible. It’s still fun, but there’s really no challenge once you get down the orc swing timing.
Buggy. Nuff said on that. I like the mid game save feature, but I can’t count how many times I accidentally clicked on a link somewhere and had to go back 2-4 waves and repeat. Very very annoying.
It’d be VERY nice if I didn’t have to run around every level to pick up gold stuck at the openings. Why can’t gold just become mine? It’s nice to be able to mount a huge pile and then run over it, but I hate having to run all over constantly to pick up strands that don’t get auto pulled.

You don’t pick up the woodmill, it actually has no function other than to allow your building structures to progress which in turn unlocks other items/unit types.

at bsm, i have huge hands, and huge fingers, and i very often hit the wrong key. but i have never once hit right click when i ment to left click…..
i also came up with another idea of why you click the wron mouse button. maybe you’re just extremely incordinated, to the point where you move your right arm when you mean to move your left lol.

hey chris i have some suggdestions for the game…
1. have a level editor so you can make your own waves and say which enimies come and go
2. DEFINETLY have knight elite 2!
3. a boss at the end of the game
4. the abbility to train dragons (Which breathe fire!)
5. a golden sowrd (SUPER HUGE DAMAGE!)
6. an enemy creator in level editor
7. the abbility to train hypnotized enimies
8. more waves
9. expanded play area
10. an lastly, an enemy that takes like 100 hits to kill on the boss level

Lag is bad, but its a very good game. Everytime i vame back from a save it would make it so that the coins couldn’t be seen, and enemies, and they couldn’t hurt you. Also any that you killed would be permanently up on the screen. Needs work, but it is REEEEEEEAAAAAAAALLLLLLLY goood. was almost tempted to buy something… but that is Never, i reapeat NEVER going to happen.

I’m totally addicted to this game and i was wondering;
1. Does Elite mode give you more exp, money, or score or is it just harder?
2. do the crossbow level upgrades do anything? (at one point i had crossbow mastery which should double the power of each attack but things that took 2 shots to start with still took 2 shots)
